(1) The hanging plate on the hull hanging shaft of the suspension line clamp is fixed by a pin, and there is a flat washer inside the pin, which covers the connection part of the hanging shaft. If the washer is not opened, it is difficult to detect the wear of the hull hanging shaft. Therefore, when checking the wear degree of the hanging shaft, the pin must be removed and the washer must be opened. At the same time, temporary measures should be taken to prevent the lightning protection wire from falling off during the inspection.
(2) To prevent wear and tear of the lightning protection wire, the size of the suspension clamp should be selected according to the cross-section of the lightning protection wire. During construction, the aluminum tape wrapping of the lightning protection wire at the clamp should be strictly carried out according to the process requirements, and the lightning protection wire should be tightly compressed.
(3) In line design, only the load of fittings is required, while other strength parameters are not required to be tested. Therefore, in areas with strong wind and high wind deviation, when selecting suspension clamps for line design and construction, wear-resistant clamps (such as various alloys) and suspension clamps with windproof components should be considered.
(4) In regular line maintenance work, especially during major repairs and annual inspections, strict adherence to regulations and standards should be followed, and all types of suspension clamps should be opened and inspected according to regulations.
The inspection of suspension line clamps is often overlooked in line maintenance work. While strengthening construction technology and material selection, regular maintenance management should also be strengthened. A ledger should be set up for pole sections that are prone to wear of suspension line clamps, the inspection cycle of line clamps should be shortened, and inspection items for suspension line clamps should be added to daily inspections.
