Preformed Tension Clamp for ADSS/OPGW Fitting
This product is used to connect OPGW cables to towers during optical fiber cable installation. The ground wire helps protect the OPGW cable and enhances vibration resistance.
The specially designed ground wire ensures that the preformed tension clamp does not cause stress concentration, which could damage the OPGW cable. This design helps to ensure the normal lifespan of the cable system.
●Shackle:
Hot-dip galvanized steel shackles are used to connect the fitting to tower fasteners.
Failure loads: U-7 up to 70 kN, U-10 up to 100 kN, U-12 up to 120 kN.
●Thimble:
Hot-dip galvanized precision steel thimble, designed for the U-shaped bending head, allows the tension clamp to connect with the extra strain rod.
●Preformed Tension Rods:
Made of galvanized steel wire or aluminum-clad steel, preformed during the manufacturing process. The inner wall is coated with emery to enhance friction between the clamp and the cable.
●Preformed Armour Rods:
Made of galvanized or aluminum-clad steel wire, the rods are preformed and coated with silicon carbide particles to increase friction and reduce pressure on the cable.
The rods are divided into sub-beams to prevent installation errors and allow for quick installation.
The ends of the rods are pre-processed with different radial bends to prevent cable clamp friction and extrusion damage caused by breeze-induced vibrations.
