The electric shock absorber is fixed to the overhead line through its wire clamp. When the overhead line vibrates, the shock absorber moves up and down, using the inertia of the heavy hammer to generate internal friction on its steel strands, consuming most of the vibration energy of the overhead line. The damping of the heavy hammer by air consumes some of the energy, and the shock absorber wire clamp consumes and reflects some of the energy. According to the principle of energy balance, the energy consumption of the shock absorber reduces the intensity of the gentle wind vibration.
