Technical Regulations And Standards For Suspension Clamps

Nov 01, 2024 Leave a message

1) Suspension clamps should consider various usage conditions such as bare wires or wrapped protective wires;
2) The curvature radius of the hull groove of the ship type suspension clamp should not be less than 8 times the diameter of the conductor and ground wire.
3) The suspension clamp should have a horizontal axis that allows the ship to rotate;
4) Suspension clamps should have clear usage limits, such as * large protrusion angle, * small protrusion angle, and allowable turning angle.
5) The design of suspension clamps should reduce the impact of wind-induced vibrations on conductors and ground wires, and avoid stress concentration or damage to conductors and ground wires. The design of suspension clamps should also consider reducing the wear of the ship's rotating shaft under the horizontal unbalanced tension of the conductor and ground wire.
6) The grip force of the fixed suspension clamp on the conductor and ground wire, as well as the ratio of the calculated breaking force with the conductor and ground wire, should not be less than the specified value or agreed upon by both parties.
7) There should be sufficient contact surface between the suspension clamp and the installed conductor or ground wire to reduce damage caused by fault current.
