Tension Clamp For Overhead Line
Preformed Tension clamp for OPGW cable can protect cables and improve anti vibration function. With Special design, preformed tension clamp can ensure the strain clamp wouldn't generate stress concentration which can damage OPGW cables so as to ensure the normal life of cable system.
Deascription
The Preformed Suspension Clamp is the connecting hardware of ADSS cable which hanging in transmission line pole (tower).
It can reduce static stress at the support point, improve cable ant-vibration ability, and cushioned against the dynamic stress of Aeolian vibration.
as well as ensure that the cable bending will not exceed the permissible values, make the cable does not produce bending stress, so that the fiber optic don't produce extra loss in the cables.
ADSS preformed tension clamp is mainly used for ADSS cable line's fixing and anchoring. It is usually installed on the terminal tower, tension tower and intersection angle tower or pole.
Function
Support full tension strength, connect the OPGW cable to the Terminal poles/towers or dead end poles/towers.

Pre-formed Armour Rod Wire : Aluminium alloy;
U-Type Holder: Aluminium alloy, breaking load: 80kN, 120kN;
PD-Type Plate: Hot-dip galvanized steel, breaking load: 80kN, 120kN;
Shackle: Hot-dip galvanized steel, GB fitting.
Notes
1. The OPGW Preformed tension clamp advised to be used once after bearing full tension for safety.
2. Quantity: one set per terminal pole and tower; two sets for tension pole and tower.
3. Tension strength of clamp: 70kN, 100kN,120kN, 160kN.
4. Choosing model No. According to overall diameter, rated tension strength(RTS) of OPGW cable.
5. The inner rods' hand lay direction reverses the outer rods, in generally, the outer rods are right ray. When left hand required, please indicate it specially.
According to different breaking load products are separated into 60kN, 80kN, 100kN, 120kN.
